BAILEY BRAND is a writer and poet. She was born, raised and still resides in Edmonton, Alberta where she continues to write and perform music and spoken word. She uses personal narratives to discuss heartache, human nature, and the struggles that come with mental illness. After being diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016, Bailey has used the discipline of writing as a method of living with the disease and hopes to inspire others to tell their own story. Her forthcoming chapbook will be released by At Bay Press.
