S. M. Beiko

S.M. (Samantha) BEIKO is a Winnipeg-based author of award-winning fantasy novels for teens. Her work includes The Lake and the Library, The Realms of Ancient Trilogy (Scion of the Fox, Children of the Bloodlands, The Brilliant Dark) and her new queer monster romance series, The Brindlewatch Quintet (The Stars of Mount Quixx followed by The Door in Lake Mallion in 2024). Beiko is also the creator of the Aurora Award winning webcomic Krampus is My Boyfriend! and the editor of Gothic Tales of Haunted Love and Gothic Tales of Haunted Futures. A staunch supporter of the local indie comic scene, Beiko is also the Artistic Director for the Prairie Comics Festival. She is also a Substantive Editor for At Bay Press.
