ZENA BJARNASON is a Winnipeg-based writer and poet. In 2019, she self-published her first collection of poetry titled “what’s lost is mine.” That same year, she was also featured in a copy of Advance with her short story titled ‘Alternate Dimensions.’ Her work has also been featured in the 2023 zine “Gender Identity and Performance” by local group Feminists of Winnipeg.
As a Rhetoric, Writing & Communications student at the University of Winnipeg, Zena is committed to making writing and knowledge more accessible for the general public. Her love of human connection keeps her sustained.
