We are pleased to welcome our new publishing coordinator, Nicole Haldoupis, and marketing and publicity specialist, Dani Arieli, to At Bay Press!
Nicole Haldoupis is a writer, editor, and visual artist from Toronto who lives in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. She’s a former editor of Grain, a former managing editor of Breakwater Books, and a co-creator of untethered. Her first book, Tiny Ruins (Radiant Press, 2020), was shortlisted for four Saskatchewan Book Awards and the Bressani Literary Prize, and she is the recipient of the 2025 Landfall Trust Award. She’s currently a managing editor at Paragon and a PhD student at Memorial University, and she plays guitar in a girl band called HAGS.

Dani Arieli is a publicist, Pushcart Prize nominee, and lover of weird, dark, and archaic literature. She has creative works featured and forthcoming in B222, 7th-Circle Pyrite, Beyond Words, and more. She is currently working toward her Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing and Publishing degree at Sheridan College. During most writing sessions, her black cat sits atop her lap while she fervently taps away at her keyboard; she very much enjoys having a writing partner who can meow.
